Today we found some dolphin, saw one white marlin, and caught some tuna. They were chasing flying fish again today for some great action.
Yellowfin tuna chasing flying fish is one of the most incredible sights in the ocean. We are fortunate to witness this spectacle several times a year out of Oregon Inlet. Today was one of those days. Randall Moon and his crew had a great day today, catching a bakers dozen tuna and a gaffer.
Once again we had some great tuna fishing today. With the good fishing all week and the pretty weather today, we had a ton of boats in the fleet, which really kept the fish moving around, it was hard to get on top of them. Luckily, we found some fish on the fringe, and ended up having a good day
The tuna fishing was as good as it gets today!
We had some outstanding tuna fishing today. After setting out this morning, we hooked 8, caught 7 and could not get in gear for the next hour. The box was topped of by 8:30 so we fished around for a big bite, but our bigeye pulled off. A great trip withe a great group of guys!
We had a nice catch of dolphin and a wahoo today
Great fishing today. Meat Slam!
John Miller and crew braved the weather to fish with us today and we managed to find a few tuna and a couple gaffers. We were laid to fighting a couple fish when the Del Monte ship decided to check us out. Look at the water coming over the bow!
We started on the Point today, but scattered grass and a concentrated fleet sent me up the Gulfstream edge and we had a great catch of gaffers!
