Tuna, wahoo and white marlin

Today we took Cari Craft out for her first offshore trip.  Her brother had fished with us in the past, and after his recent passing, Cari brought his ashes along to be spread in the Gulf Stream.  Apparently Brian was looking down on us, and we caught 7 and a half tuna, a wahoo, and a white marlin!



Good kite action

Today we caught 9 tuna. They were chasing flying fish, so we put the kite up and had some great action. Interesting story: Seven boats lost their kites simultaneously when a squall came through and the static electricity in the air burned the kite lines. I guess we really didn’t pay attention to Ben Franklin!
