We set out today looking for dolphin on a change east of the inlet. It didn’t work out for us. We missed a few tuna bites and started working back towards the fleet where there were some fish. Then we got a call from a boat that had been offshore of us. “If you need dolphin, you need to head out to the Northeast”. We cranked our rigs in and steamed 12 miles offshore, it was well worth it! I have not seen that many dolphin in one place like that in years. We caught a limit in 10 minutes!
We found limits of dolphin and tiles for John Chew and his crew today.
We had a great trip with a makeup group today. Thanks Greg, GW, Mary, Mark, Bethany, and Oliver for fishing with us and I hope you enjoy the fish
It looks like the first hurricane of the year is on its way, and we are headed out today to make our last trip before it gets here. So far, so good, not too much wind or sea.
We stayed above the fleet all day and found a few fat tunas
Lucky and his Critter Control crew joined us today for some good action!
