It’s May, time for gaffers and tuna. The gaffers are here, but the tuna have been a little behind. Today there was a tuna bite later in the afternoon, hopefully they are here to stay for a while! We had a last minute cancellation for Thursday May 19, give us a call to get in on the action
It’s springtime and the weather has a tendency to change fairly quickly on the Outer Banks. After some great fishing on Monday we headed offshore yesterday with big expectations. 20 knots of SW wind, 75° ware with no tide, and squalls with gusts up to 40 knots made fishing challenging to say the least. We did find a few gaffers, and a couple boats had great catches before we called it a day
