After a rough ride out we made it to the grounds and found a few nice fish. Thanks Cynthia for the trip, I hope we see you again next year!
After looking at marks on the machine for the last few days, we finally found some that wanted to bite.
We had a slow start on Sunday, but around noon, there were a few fish starting to show around the 650. We got in the area and hooked a bigeye, unfortunately we pulled the hook ten minutes into the battle. After another two hours, we finally hooked two out of three bites, and landed a 126# bigeye at 3:15. No skunky for the Frenzy!
We caught 4 tuna and a gaffer today with our make up group. There was one bigeye caught in the fleet but plenty of marks. Hopefully they will turn on this week. We still have May 25 open
It was slick calm today, when we set out we hooked a 128# bigeye and missed two others. The rest of the day was a little slow for us, but right before quitting time we caught 6 yellowfin and ended the day on a great note! We are still open on Wednesday, give me a call and get in on the action!
