It looks like the water has changed around considerably from 4 days ago. The NW wind has shoved a wedge of cold water through the area east of the inlet and down below the Point. I’m headed south. Let’s hope we find them today. Good luck to Nick and Chrissy on their wedding, I’ll see you this afternoon!

Last night was the finale of Wicked Tuna North vs South. We celebrated a great season over at Reed and Michelle Meredith’s house, Reed made some barbecue and fall off the bone chicken that was as good as I have eaten in a long time. After all the hype and bickering back and forth, we are just a bunch of guys who love what we do, and are glad to have some good friends to share this whole experience with. Thanks to everyone for making it a great season, and let’s hope we get to do it again!
If you missed any episodes of Wicked Tuna North vs South, tune in to the National Geographic Channel today for the North vs South Marathon and get ready for the Finale tonight at 10PM. The captains will be live on Twitter during the show! #WickedTunaNvS Check out the Frenzy store this weekend, all items are 15% off through tomorrow, use the code FINALE to apply discount!
What a great day of fishing today! The swell was not nearly what we expected, and so the whole fleet made it out today. We caught a couple yellowfins, blackfins and dolphin. To top it off we caught a 397.5# blue marlin. I’ve got a few chunks to sear and slice thin with wasabi and soy. The rest is going in the smoker!
The boys from Appomattox had a great time today. We caught a meat slam, 8 tunas, a wahoo, and a dolphin. Thanks for fishing on the Frenzy, I look forward to seeing you again soon!
Sheri Dickert and her motley crew showed up at the Frenzy this morning ready to catch some tuna. We headed out to the 680 and found a few. Great day with a great crew, I hope to see you guys again soon!
Fishing slowed down for us the last two days but we still managed to scrap out a catch. A little windy today, trying it again in the morning
