We stayed above the fleet all day and found a few fat tunas
Lucky and his Critter Control crew joined us today for some good action!
We went 1 for 3 on white marlin today, and caught a few tuna and dolphin for dinner.
When our group got to the boat today, I asked Sadie if she was ready to catch a tuna. She said no, I want to catch Mahi! So we went down the beach , found a tideline, and caught Mahi. Then we went looking for a big bite, and found some tuna to top off the box.
We had great tuna fishing again today for our group.
Today I decided to leave the tuna fleet and check out the eddy South of the point. We were overwhelmed with scattered grass, but with no tide, I made a couple drops and caught some tiles for dinner. We set back out, and within 20 minutes, we hooked a blue marlin between 350 and 400 pounds. The hook pulled, but not before I shot this video

Today I tried to stick to the north edge of the fleet and overshot the fish by about 12 miles. I can’t always land in the right spot, but by the end of the day we had a nice catch of fish
The yellowfin fishing is as good as it gets. If you are ready to catch some tuna, don’t wait too long to book. Box full by 10 am today!
Once again, June has proven to be the prime season for yellowfin tuna on the Outer Banks. Each of the last three days we had outstanding fishing, plenty of action with tuna chasing flying fish several different times during the day. A few marlin have showed up, unfortunately, we haven’t connected on any of our bites.
